The new masterplan, occupying 400,000 m2 overlooking the sea, creates a real science district in the heart of Genoa.
The design of the facilities of Great Campus was carried out through a participatory process with the operators, citizens, and institutions, which all contribute to the integration of the Park into the area and to the application of solutions designed specifically for the needs of the community.
The site work required a complex earth-moving activity to create a raised level for the park, which is now on the same level as the square between the two buildings of the Campus.
The Park is home to 48 tall trees, 25,000 m2 of lawns, 2,000 ornamental plants, thus representing the largest newly built park in Genoa.
